I really like doing ones where you can see the hilt (the part you hold) once where the blade just comes out of the side of a picture i refer to as 'cheap saber edits' because a poorly trained monkey could do that...adding a hilt requires some skill.
requirements:
I can't work magic, so if you want the hilt it needs to be workable see my 'Jedi Sammy' edit for a great example of a promotion picture with a good set up for a saber. For home ones, its a lot easier, here's an example of one I did for a guy in class- he's not really holding anything just 'acting' like he is ^_-

(yeah...the hilt shouldn't be so bright...and...idk why its glowing like THAT...it usually looks nicer)
oh...and that reminds me, I can make them glow too
-the bigger the image, the better! i cannot stress that enough.
-let me know what color blade
-if you have a preference of hilt (if the hilt would be visible)
i can also attempt sith eyes if you're wanting to sith-ify yourself.

Never underestimate the ability of stupid people to come up with something new and even more idiotic to say. The human race is full of these kind of delightful surprises.
